The strategic plan is a document that outlines the overall long-term goals and desires for the school. The plan includes land use recommendations linked to school functions, landscape measures, school gardens and farmland. Future infrastructure measures such as water supply, energy supply, and surface water management are defined. The plan also explains in short terms the necessary expenses and financial needs of Eco Moyo. The goal is that the strategic plan gives an overview of the schools plans and needs in an easy and understandable way, inspiring future contributors and stakeholders to support and engage in our collaborative effort to further develop the school.
Our policy plan reflects our commitment to improving the lives of underprivileged children in Kenya. We’ve built a sustainable school near Mombasa, serving 210 students as of 2022. The school uses solar energy, rainwater, compost toilets, and organic farming. Our goals for 2023 focus on safety, literacy, and school culture. We’ve planned health talks, reading activities, workshops, and communication exercises to achieve these goals.
We’re primarily funded by private donors and foundations. We provide a breakdown of our main donors and how the funds were used in 2022. Our contact information - web, Facebook, Instagram, email, phone number, and address details - are included in the plan. For financial transactions, we’ve shared our bank account details along with our tax number and RSIN number for the Dutch Tax Office.
In essence, our policy plan is a testament to our dedication to creating a nurturing and sustainable educational environment for underprivileged children in Kenya.
